To ALL SURFERS
The following information is provided regarding surfing permits for Robert Moses State Park:
Cost of permit is $25. [The "Gorman" letter from 2006, and fishing permit are no longer valid.]
We at Surfrider CLI encourage any Members who surf the State Parks in the winter months to purchase this permit.
It is valid from September 15 through December 31 [Note: We are still attempting to negotiate 9/15 through 4/15. It is quite a long walk from RM5 to Point Democrat]
It allows access to Robert Moses fields 2,3,4 during daylight hours [Note: RM 2 was added because this parking lot will soon be closed due to budget cuts. You NEED this Permit to park there if the gate is closed]
It may be purchased at Robert Moses. Office hours at Robert Moses are 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. seven days a week.
