Just an update on Mosquitoes.
Suffolk County Department of Health Services does daily testing of mosquitoes for West Nile Virus. On July 16 2010, they informed the public that several samples tested positive.
Since mosquitoes primarily feed at dusk, and night…Heckscher State Park will close each evening at 6 PM and re-open at 8 AM
