All meetings will begin at 6:30pm but you should plan to get there by 5:30 in order to get a seat. There is an open house with informational displays from 5 to 6pm. Clean Ocean Action and our coalition partners will be having a press conference and rally before the hearings in Long Branch and Edison. More details to come.

Our last Central Long Island Chapter of Surfrider meeting 1-10-11:
held at the Long Beach Public library was a rousing success.
Approximately 80 people were in attendance.
Scott Bocher spoke about the **Reynolds Channel dumping: and the steps that are being taken to solve the problem.
John Weber, our regional director talked about the national level formation of surfrider approximately 25 years ago and our mission for clean water. He mentioned the clean water task force and the website www.knowyourH2O.org .
