- General Chapter Meeting-August 28th at 5:30 pm on Gilgo Beach. We will be having our annual So Long to Summer gathering/cleanup immediately following, so bring beach chairs and blankets and some snacks, and help us to say sayonara to Summer 2011. Entry is Free.

- The Long Beach Surfer's Association along with the Long Beach Surf Team will be hosting a fundraiser for Danny Bobis' wife Rachel and his family. This will be a wonderful way to keep his memory and spirit alive. The date is October 15, 2011 and the location is The Inn in Long Beach.
