Shore at 12 Noon, 39 Brentwood Road ~ Bay Shore, NY 11706 The shiva at the temple later that day, Friday and Saturday night.

All, it is with great sadness that we tell you of the sudden passing of one of our Chapter volunteers and activists. Gerry Leibowitz died this morning. The Surfrider Foundation would like to extend its condolences to former Secretary, Heidi Leibowitz, on the passing of her husband Gerry and their children. Gerry was an integral part of the Central Long Island Chapter, and he was always available to lend a smile and helping hand. He will be greatly missed, and we thank him for his years of service to the Chapter.
