Memorial Paddle Out for Gerry Leibowitz at Gilgo Beach

The Central Long Island Surfrider Foundation would like to celebrate
the life of Gerry Leibowitz an honor his love for his wife Heidi and
the Big Blue with a memorial paddle out.
Gerry was an integral part of the Central Long Island Chapter, and he
was always available to lend a smile and helping hand. we want to show
our thanks him for his years of service to the Chapter.
June 20th also marks the 30th wedding anniversary of Gerry and his wife
Heidi. Heidi served as secretary and Gerry and Heidi had planned to
paddle out in celebration of this milestone. Boards and lifeguards will
be available so please come down and celebrate this amazing day with
us!
If you have an extra board please bring it and bring your own picnic
dinner, chairs and beach gear. Any questions please contact us via
